SUCCESS!!!!! ISRAMERICA WITH RAMI KLEINSTEIN!!!

On January 12th ISRAMERICA hosted a special night of music, comedy and welcomed the incomparable Israeli pop superstar Rami Kleinstein and the dynamic young ISRAMERICA collective. The show was a sold out success and we had an opportunity to share the stage with a live legend, Rami Kleinstein.

ISRAFEST was A MEGA EVENT filled with Israeli and Jewish-American Music, Fashion and Art and featured The ISRAMERICA House Band (with Judah Gavra, Omer Shaish, Talya Smilowitz, Stav Livne and Natalie Tenenbaum), The Groggers, Rony Corcos, Noah and the Maccabees and a snippet from Sivan Hadari's Award-winning one woman show: The Emancipation of the Sassy Jewish Woman.

The walls at City Winery were adorned with extraordinary visual art, paintings, murals and more all courtesy of the talented pro-Israel artists from Artists 4 Israel. The back walls were draped with an endless array of Ethnic, Pro-Israel fashion items and accessories. But most importantly were the Kick-Tuchess performances on stage by these young, breakout Isramerican artists.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event a wonderful success.

"A Daughter of Israel", Sassy one woman show and more!

Isramerica-awesomeness is always in the works, and we have some amazing events coming to you this fall!

Isramerica is an associate producer of the new play "A Daughter of Israel", coming to you for a limited two weeks engagement.

Engulfed within the backdrop of the never ending controversy that affects the Middle East, four young girls are forced to become instant women when drafted into a special elite unit that of the Israeli Defense Forces. Set in a top secret training camp in Israel, surrounded by only male soldiers, the girls must find a way to overcome their differences and take on the massive responsibility. Can these teenage girls find their own voices as soldiers or will they give up and put the future of the entire unit at risk? A Daughter of Israel is based on the true stories of co-creator Adi Kurtchik.

Shows run November 11 - November 21, 2010, Thursday through Sunday evenings at 8:00 pm at the Looking Glass Theatre located at 422 West 57th Street (between 9th and 10th avenue).
TICKETS ON SALE HERE.

Love Sassy Jewish women who know what they want and are going for it? Then you wanna check out Sivan Hadari's solo show "The Emancipation of the Sassy Jewish Woman".

The performance is based on Hadari's experiences as a modern day gypsy, traveling through America, Israel, Egypt, Turkey, India, China and Thailand in search of a home. The audience is taken on a journey back to the time when Hadari's family were Jewish immigrants fleeing Tunisia, to a little girl praying at a Yeshiva in Brooklyn, to a caravan in a settlement over-looking Jericho, to a nude beach at the Dead Sea to jewel encrusted elephant rides in India, all in the name of liberation.

THE EMANCIPATION OF THE SASSY JEWISH WOMAN will take place at 10pm on Wednesday, November 11th at The Studio Theatre at Theatre Row, located at 410 West 42nd Street New York, N.Y. Tickets are $18 online and can be purchased at the door or online.

Blasts from the Past:

- Two of our Isramericans, Rony Stav and Natalie Tenenbaum, performed at the Symphonic Live at the Bowery Poetry Club last week and did a marvelous job. KOL HAKAVOD!
